Hello!

It’s been awhile, so what’s new, you ask? Well, on the bricks-and-mortar front, quite a lot! We’ve moved shops, back in Jan 2021 – for the first time, after 10 years in business!

It’s been an incredible move for both Safari’s Record Shack & I. We were very nervous to do so, but the better rent & bigger space was irresistible – and, we’re so glad we did. Turns out you are finding us in our new location too 🙂

There’s now a dedicated space upstairs, for the Winter Flower School, hen’s parties, and all your flower workshop desires. It’s filled with space, & the most dreamy light for photographing all your pretty creations! Timber floors thru-out, upstairs & down, sash windows, soaring high ceilings – a dream space.

Updating the online shop & website, has been on my to-do list all thru Summer (let’s be honest – all thru the past 10 years in business)… perhaps some more improvements, coming this Winter. But customers come first, and that is mostly been;

1. the incredible, lovely friends & regulars, who pop in store or call to chat – you can reach me anytime, 0411 368 766 to order direct, or just talk flowers. You guys are incredible beings, thoughtful and supportive of small businesses, give yourselves a pat on the back! I appreciate every order, from the littlest posy to the giant arrangements, Thank You.

2. Brides! And the rare groom from time to time, too 😉 From the hours dissecting your inspo images, to ensure I’ve perfected your styling & vision, to custom quoting to suit your budget needs, to ordering & re-ordering, sometimes double (or triple!) to ensure your flowers come in exactly as needed… to the actual days before & Your Big Day – early starts, late finishes (the occasional all-nighter) … it’s all for love! You & your fiancé’s love for each other, and of course, my love for flowers, always & always! Thank you to all my brides – past & upcoming – you’ve all made my dream of the florist life, a possible reality.

Couldn’t imagine a better job, really. Every flower I gaze into takes away all the pain, & every change of season inspires afresh, my love of flowers.
